Founded in 1999, Algoa Meat Supply quickly grew into a wholesale factory that specializes in the deboning of C Grade carcasses. Today this is still the heart of the store, proudly supplying and hand-delivering required specialized cuts to retail shops throughout the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan.
In 2009 Algoa Meat Supply relocated to Sidwell from Swartkops. This move allowed for a redesign of a modern deboning plant and the addition of a local factory shop. A food safety management system was introduced which consists of strict annual audits.
Today, Algoa Meat Supply is the proud supplier of supermarkets, butcheries, pie shops, home industries, traditional funerals and home biltong producers all via the wholesale deboning plant; as well as the local market via the factory shop.
